Client Case Study: ERBI

We have developed a special workshop, ‘BioProject Management’ for the East of England Biotechnology community, which is offered through ERBI (Eastern Region Biotechnology Institute).

It is aimed at science and technical professionals, typically working for small companies who need to introduce project working to manage increasing workload and growing alliance networks. These individuals often have no experience of project management, and there is little formal infrastructure in the company for them to learn from!

Rather than providing an intensive, formal process (which might be suitable for larger operations), we instead give a robust grounding more suited to the more informal cultures they work within.

Over two days it provides a thorough introduction to both the process and people issues in pharma and biotech projects. Participants are trained in how to put together a project structure and plan, build a project team, deal with typical people problems and influence senior management.
